Well, here is how to spend a weekend. Drove 458 miles one way (from Raleigh, NC, to Danville, PA) met some great people, stood out in the chilly north wind - you can hear it blow in the recording - and all to spend two or three hours playing "Farmer Brown" with a lawn and garden tractor!
Now must confess, longer distances have been driven, temperatures of a greater extreme endured and other weather related elements and have spent time in worse all around conditions to attend a Sprint Cup race in every corner of the U.S.. :D

Sounds like fun, Whiz!

Me, I spent the weekend at a wet and muddy racetrack waiting for it to stop raining! :D

Look in the dirt racing forum, you'll see how my weekend was spent. No rain, and lots and lots of dirt racing. Saturday I about froze to death, since it was about 20 or more degrees colder (and really windy) that Friday was, and I forgot any additional layers. But fun all the same. :beerbang:

Damn Whizz, I head towards you and you take off. :) We traveled to nearby Garner to see the youngest kid's new home. Had a great afternoon and bought them a couple of rockers from Cracker Barrel for house warming gifts. The weather was perfect.

I would have much rather been doing what Whizzer was doing. Now that sounded like a great time. As it was though i stayed home and worked on Saturday on the computer doing some review work of the design of a Power Plant. My time is getting short before I will have to spend every other week in Pittsburgh working.

Muddled through a very nice, lazy saturday morning with the wife. We don't always get those, so it was pretty cool. Then I watched the Cavaliers beat the Bulls in the playoff opener. All in all a pretty good day.

Sunday was spent really ill, but hey one out of two isn't a bad percentage I guess. Gotta think positive, right?
