A Richmond-shaped race track, with turns banked like Bristol?!

Now tell me what kind of racing we'd see there....haha.
 
While I do like the idea, I agree with TRL. I don't like the current banking at Richmond. It needs raised a bit and maybe I will like it more.
 
That's sounds like a race track to me!

The racing surface should be 80'wide all the way around.
The track should also make sure that the exit of 2 & entrance of 3 dosen't have that pinchg effect that Richmond has.

the banking should be 30 to 34 degrees.

that palce would be awesome!
 
I want an asphalt bristol, .75 miles, with lights of course
 
Id like more road courses too. One at Road America or Laguna Seca, or even the Daytona Road Course.
 
Dirt would be fun, but for right now all we have is NASCAR Thunder 2003 for that. Maybe one day they will bring it back.
 
Put lights around north wilkesboro and everybody would be happy or maybe just me
 
Im wiht you chuck. I loved the races at North Wilkes boro. Everytime they have one on Espn classic or on Speed channle. I make a point to watch them.

Road America would work too!!

There are just too many "cookie cutter" tracks, IMO
 
I would love to see Wilkesboro brought back. *sigh* The racing there was the best. Having to go uphill on the backstretch was neat.

Of course, the best would be to return asphalt to Bristol. hehehe
I love the old Bristol races ---- running right next to the fence in the turns, smoking that right rear tire coming out of the turn.

But a Richmond with 15-20 degrees of banking would be perfect. :)

What are you talking about? Does Nascar thunder have a dirt track on it?
 
I want a track made from a interstate loop around a big city. Nashville has the perfect layout to do this. I'm sure there are others too.
 
i say that NHIS should put banking into the turns like bristol and pave it with concrete!! More tracks should be concrete IMO. Dover Bristol and Nashville all look great and have good races as well.
