Before the California race, Michael Waltrip driver of the number 55 car (if you want a sponsor list, just listen to him when a mike is in his face) is shown in eighth place in Winston Cup, Nextel Cup, eeer Sprint Cup points.

How far do you think he will fall after this week?

My guess would be to 15th.

While I may be in the minority, I hope he goes up in points

and I'm sure wishing someone misfortune surely cant help your karma

I agree I hope Mikey has a decent season, then retires, would be nice to see him go out on a good note. DW was saying he had plane trouble, that his plane had to make an emergency landing in Vegas. So Mikeys' weekend didn't start very good that is for sure.

I'd like to see him miss 3 or 4 races and get replaced with some young blood that might make the races more interesting than having an "also ran" back in the pack.
Betsy:rolleyes:

Well, at least

Robby has kept us all on the front edge of our chairs, race after race, waiting to see who he put in the wall next! Mikey, on the other hand, is just back there somewhere driving along.. Maybe even humming to himself.. What is the truckers thing? Got a front door and a back door...just sittng there in his rocking chair..
Betsy:rolleyes:

Bucky,
I'm not down on Michael, just that he's always in the back just riding around. His Daytona finish was just being in the right place after almost everyone wrecked or pitted.

Hmmm in the right place at the right time......isn't that what racing is all about?;)
