That was LOOSE and SIDEWAYS when Robby and Mikey got together...I'm amazed both saved it. That track was slippery!

whats with Waltrip? Going to take himself out on the last lap? That was a stoopid move on his part.

As a Robby fan, I'm not sure if Robby checked up in front of him on purpose or if Waltrip gave him a hard time when trying to get by (beacuse RG was on the lead lap and MW was not) for the restart, but it sure was funny.
My thought was something along the lines of "Hey jerk, remember when I was out here last year with my self owned, one car team and you wrecked me while I was finally having a good race? Well, take a look at Mr. "Not in the top 35" with his self owned team this year".

Oh well.

Check the tape. A friend of mine posted this info:

The drivers were cleaning their tires getting ready for the green flag ...
they were making quick jumps & spinning their tires to make sure they were clean ...
Robby Gordon made the quick jump & Michael followed ...
then Robby Gordon pulled a dirty trick, he made a very short jump & then got on the brakes ...
Michael was doing a normal quick jump but because of Robby's brake-check Michael ran into the back of Robby ...
it wiped-out Michael's front-end busting the raditor & taking him out of the race.

of course the question is "Why did he jump on the brakes?" Was it because of Waltrip (which is funny and also payback for last year...and about 18 of the drivers out there today) or because someone in front of him slowed up or they started to bunch up? Either way, revenge is a dish best served cold and payback's a B_____!

I was initially referring to the door slamming narly saves they did when they went into an almost synchronized spin.

:D Waltrip has to get TV coverage. Can't get it by racing up front. So the only other way is to have accidents.

Oh, they were good saves alright...I'll give them both that.
