Yeah, how dare I say Waltrip is a dirty driver. :rolleyes:
 
It's the same thing when someone rubs you from behind and tries to push you out of the way and possibly into the wall. Todd was just was just as much at fault as Michael, but both were racing for the lead. Neither were trying to wreck eachother, they both are fierce competitors and were racing hard. But hey, you can think what you want. Michael ended up on top.
 
I think Paul got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning!!:D Cheer up Paul........there's a race tomorrow!!:D
 
No, neither tried to wreck each other.

Bodine bumped Waltrip's rear bumper. Waltrip smashed in the right side of Bodine's car so that it couldn't run then bragged about it.

Whatever it takes right?
 
Rubbins Racing. An d what about Bodine saying " I barley tocued him" yeah right Mikeys car went sideways. Mikey just gave Todd a little bit of his own medicine.

Heck i would have done the same thing If i was Mikey I thought of that When Todd was moving up. But hey I AM a dirty driver on Video games just ask my bro.
 
I didn't see any car sideways. I saw Waltrip's car loosen up. Didn't see any smoke or brakes locking up that usually happens when a car goes sideways. Are you sure you're not exagerating?

Neither move was right, IMO. But who woulda thunk it that everyone would justify Waltrip's dirty driving? Hmm..:rolleyes:

First of all, PettyBenson4510 is right. When Todd Bodine got into Michael, he got Michael very loose and made his rear end break loose a second. There were no smoking tires or brakes locking up, but that doesn't mean he didn't get sideways.

You are right, neither move is right. But you got to get of your little trip that everyone is justifying Waltrip's driving. Nobody's justifying either driver's driving, but since both of them were doing it to eachother, only you really seem to care.
 
Are you on the same planet as me? Here's a copy of your post where you justify and even condone Waltrip's actions...

Good job for Michael. I thought the race was over when fat and bald Bodine, I mean, Todd Bodine caught him.

Michael raced Todd Bodine hard, and when Todd Bodine got into him, I guess Michael didn't like that too much. But it's a taste of Bodine's own medicine, if you remember a few weeks ago when Todd Bodine got bumped by Jr. and then pulled his car down on Jr. when he went to pass. Todd wanted to race like that, so Michael raced him back that way, Todd got what was coming.

So, sorry you're wrong again dude...People are justifying the driving...and it's you.
 
Eh hem. What we seem to have here is a failure to communicate.

Both were racing rough. I personally don't care at all, Bodine is a nice driver to meet in person, I obviously am a Michael fan. I liked watching them race hard, I figured Michael was going to finish second any way but am glad that he ended up winning. He did what he needed to do, Todd did what he needed to do, Todd just ended up with the shorter end of the stick this time.

Well ya know guys, rubbins racin.....just ask Kurt or Jimmy or Elliot. A more agressive Mikey would be good for his career but I doubt Mikey will try that stuff in his regular series cause he knows dern well he'll find the wall if he does.

And if ya think the mouth of the south...er north....never forgets, that cue ball headed fool is probably gonna remember this one for a while too.

Just can't wait for the shorties! Shucks, all of a sudden I can't hardly wait for tomarrow:D :rolleyes:

Very true, but its a different story if you admit to doing it. Bragging about it leads to fines ect for other drivers.

Well, my first thought during and after the race is that these WC guys look at the BGN like they do their off-circuit dirt track racing. They don't take it very seriously. That's not fair to the other drivers that are out on the track week in and week out trying to make a name for themselves. I highly doubt Mikey would have make those comments if (with a capitol I) he had won a WC race.

Thats certainly true in some cases. I also have to think Happyhour is right on here as well.
 
I didn't see the race, but the discussion begs a simple question. How much would these opinions differ if the last name was Spencer not Waltrip?

Oh squirt TN......had it been Jimmy or Kurt, every board on the net woulda lit up with dirtiest driver since the Big E stuff. Then we all woulda got distracted by the Big E stuff and after that it would turn in to legends vs wannabees and....and...and.

Too bad ya missed it TN. Not a bad race at all. Shame all the buschwackers show up at the same race to keep the newbies from runnin but other than all the little guys that had to go home early, not bad at all.
 
I wonder how exciting a race would be if everyone drove politely. I mean Mikey to his spotter: "Hey Joe, I'm faster than Todd. Would you please go down to his spotter and ask him to move over so I can pass him?" Joe: "Sure thing, Mikey, wait one." Two minutes later (and 4 laps) Joe: "Hey Mikey, Ted talked to Todd and explained the situation. Todd says for you to take the inside on turn 3 next lap......he'll let you by. Oh, and Ted wanted me to tell you that Todd sure is sorry he was holding you up" Mikey: "Okay, Joe, thanks........and tell Ted to get back to Todd and express my thanks. I owe him one."

Doesn't work that way and no one would enjoy a race like that. It's a rough sport......everyone on the track is your enemy until the checkered flag waves. It's a "gentlemen's" sport only off the track........and sometimes not even there!!:)
 
maybe Mickey liked Todds paint scheme better and wanted some on his car????????????:D
 
lol Fanof5. Mikey just went ahead and started complaining about what Nascar is. Come on Mikey give me a break and after today....I would sure like to see you finish last tommorow...Who are you gonna blame then?
 
Oh come on now, how many people has Todd put into the wall or taken out of the race this season. Too many to count. All the drivers on the Busch circuit know this and the smart ones will protect themselves from Mr Bodine. If a little bent fender keeps him away, all the better.

Yeah I want to know too........Maybe Todd is getting a bum rap? There's at a couple others with that reputation in both series.
 
Well,IMO,in terms of talent Mikey isn't fit to tote Todd's helmet.If Waltrip has proven anything on the WC circuit,it is that he isn't much of a driver.I hate to sound so harsh about it but the facts bear is out.:(

No.You are right,Wrangler.Todd has not done better in WC than Mikey has...but then he has only been around about a third as long as Waltrip has,has not had near the quality rides that Waltrip has...At the same point in their careers,however,Todd has shown much more potential than Waltrip has.I would bet if Todd has almost 400[!]more races to run,he can pick up TWO wins too.
 
I'm sure Todd can get two wins in 400 starts.......well, unless bad luck plays into it. But, in all truth, neither driver has torn em up with any consistancy. That is not to say either is a bad driver....or that one or the other is "not worthy to carry the other's helmet" either! They both are about average drivers at the Winston Cup level.......there really are not many drivers when you take in the whole scheme of things that truly excell to the point of being great drivers. Same goes for the drivers that wind up truly poor drivers (they just don't last that long). Both drivers are fun to poke fun at........cue ball, clown, etc!! But, I haven't seen Todd put all that many drivers in the wall (and never seen him "do it on purpose").......same for Mikey. Both have occassionally pushed it past the limit......but if they didn't try to hit that limit, they wouldn't be doing the job they are hired to do. I can say the same about a number of other drivers that don't get the bad press that Todd and Mikey get.

WELL, PAUL, I DIDNT READ THE WHOLE THING, BUT I DONT THINK I NEED TO. I BELIEVE YOU R JUST TRYING TO GET PEOPLE RILED UP. WE ALL KNOW THAT TODD B HAS NO COUTH. ALL HE DOES IF HE CAN GET UP TO YOU IS WRECK YOU OUT OF THE WAY. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON ALL YEAR IN BOTH SERIES. YOU CANT CONVINCE ME THAT YOU EVEN FOR 1 SEC BELIEVE TB WAS INNOCENT AND DIDNT DESERVE MW PROTECTING HIMSELF FROM THE ATTACK OF TODD B.:p
 
Maybe you should read the whole thing before commenting.

And can you give me some dates this year where Todd just came up and "wrecked everyone out of the way"? If not, you need to stop telling tales out of school.
