Just heard on the local news channel that a CAT has adopted a baby SKUNK!
It seems that the local Animal Shelter had just received a lactating kitty with no kittens and later that day someone dropped off a 3 week old skunk. They decided to see if the kitty would allow the hungry baby to nurse, and she did!
Now the kitty treats skunkey like her baby and a kind soul has agreed to adopt BOTH and keep them together!
