In a span of 10 races, after race #15 at Michigan to after race #25 at Darlington, the following changes have taken place in the point standings: (Im only noting the most dramatic changes):
Bobby Labonte has dropped from 4th to 8th.
Michael Waltrip has dropped from 6th to 9th.
Jimmie Johnson has jumped from 7th to 4th.
Rusty Wallace has dropped from 8th to 17th.
Sterling Marlin has dropped from 9th to 16th.
Mark Martin has dropped from 10th to 15th.
Kevin Harvick has jumped from 11th to 3rd.
Ricky Craven has dropped from 13th to 20th.
Terry Labonte has jumped from 15th to 11th.
Robby Gordon has jumped from 16th to 12th.
Ryan Newman has jumped from 18th to 7th.
And who are the only two drivers to have gained points on Matt Kenseth during this time period?
Kevin Harvick and Ryan Newman.
