I'm sending this to people who might be old enough to
know who Gracie Allen was, and you younger ones might get a kick out
of it! She was the original BLONDE!!!!!!

Gracie Allen's Classic Recipe for Roast Beef
1 large Roast of beef
1 small Roast of beef

Take the two roasts and put them in the oven. When the little one burns, the big one is done.

George: (looking at Gracie, who is arranging a large vase of beautiful flowers) Grace, those are beautiful flowers. Where did they come from?

Gracie: Don't you remember, George? You said that if I went to visit Clara Bagley in the hospital I should be sure to take her flowers. So, when she wasn't looking, I did.

It was the majic between the two of them that made the team. George was still a sucess after losing her and a household name up to the time of his death....

Did you know that you can still get video tapes of the TV show? I gifted a dear friend with one.

I wonder if those cigars were just props?

Doesn't matter, they were his trade mark and he outlived his doctors...

Well, they were, and they weren't. Funny enough, he had to use the cheapest cigars during his act .... because the good, tightly rolled ones go out if you don't keep puffing on them. The loosely rolled cheapies would stay lit for the entire routine with just the occasional puff.
