Well, I'm lazy and have too much free time on my hands, so I thought I would start this lame @$$ thread for y'all. :D Seeing how the new 2013 Sprint Cup cars look almost like the actual cars on the street, and seeing how the Nationwide cars don't, I started to think about how the Nationwide cars (mostly the pony cars) could look better without being changed too much.

One thing I think would help is if NASCAR allowed the manufacturers to move the B pillars back just a little bit if they want to. Then the manufacturers could make it the same color as the window. NASCAR could also allow manufacturers to change the shape and dimensions of the back seat windows like with the 2013 Cup cars.
The other thing that might help is to allow the manufacturers to modify the area the area above the rear tires that pushes out a little. (It's hard to notice, but all Nationwide cars are like that.) If this were allowed, then Chevy could make the transition between the car number and the rear tires more abrupt, possibly making the side look like a Camaro. (Have I mentioned I wish Camaros would race in the Nationwide series?) At the very least, modifying the area above the rear tire would help the way the Challenger looks.
Oh well, ain't the end of the world. I hardly know anything about cars anyway. (I really don't know anything about cars ) I only pay attention to how they look. And on race day, I pay way more attention to the racing than the looks of the cars anyway.
