How upset are you by NASCAR's tampering?

As I just stated in another thread. I am getting pretty fed-up with their tampering with the competitive aspects of the races. I have always loved watching NASCAR races in person and at home. I have also spent quite a bit of money on NASCAR apparel. I am however, starting to have my love for the sport eroded by what is becoming blatant mis-management and uneven application of the rules. I have a hard time justifying spending my money on something that they will decide instead of letting the competitors decide. I wonder how many other fans feel the same way I do? I still really enjoy the sport quite a bit, but it is harder to do so than it used to be. What do you guys think?
 
Its starting to get a little old, but I still love Nascar and will probably never stop. I do think that they need to take a stand on 1 rule and stick with it! It hasn't changed my mind on Nascar but I think they do need to fix their problems before It really gets out of hand!
 
there's only one thing wrong with NASCAR: mike helton.
he makes real crooked presidents look like saints.
 
I'm not sure that Helton is the entire problem for NASCAR right now. He is definitely a bad manager and should be removed, but those around him are no better. Darby and Hunter are echoing the company line.

They say the subject of Jr's pass is closed and on to Martinsville. It won't be that easy, because too many fans are starting to question how the TV contract and the marketing machine of NASCAR is turning this from a sport to simlpy a way to make the most money every week.

I've watched NASCAR for over 20 years and attended races every year, but it's wearing thin for me.
 
If Earnhardt fans are happy then NASCAR is happy.

People like us can just stop watching.
 
I am frustrated with Nascar, there inconsistencey and misinterpretation of their own rules. Will I stop watching...not at this point. If it continues, I might.

I'll never stop watching Nascar....i grew up with it, it is my blood. I don't always agree with the things that happen on and off the track, but for the most part i love it. If Nascar would end today i would probably watch formula 1 more and the SCCA.
