I hope everyone had a fun and safe Fourth. My party turned out great, although it would have been much better if it wouldn't have stormed on and off. Not much you can do about Mother Nature though. Looking forward to the race tonight. I didn't watch the Busch race, but heard Jr. led all the laps? Not much of a race, huh? Hope tonight is better.
 
A pretty cool fourth here except the rain put a little damper on the fireworks last night.And the BGN race?It was a joke,trust me.Watching paint dry is more fun.I just hope tonights race isnt as boring.

Anyway,everyone have a great weekend. :salute:
 
I spent the 4th posting on racing-forums.com, hopefully a win by Dale Jr. or Harvick at the 400 will make it all better.
 
I am here for a second before we hit the road!

Ours was diffrent and scary! WE had really bad weather! We were eating at the picnic with the clouds getting darker then they started to move fast and twist turn a tornado could very well have formed! WE all went and heading down to my aunts basment( well most did some stoon in the garage I was one) There was one heck of a light show with the lighting! Then while most were in the basement the power went out so it became a candle light party. The power was out for the rest of the night and as far as I know still os.WE waited for the storms to pass then once they did we had a big mess to pick up from the winds! Waited around till dark and then they shot of fireworks! On our way home we went throught the city and it was weird the power was out on the main road and it seemed like a ghost town! It was kinda freeky.

Was a nice day. Not too hot, for a change. Even had a rain shower in the afternoon. The town didn't have a fireworks show --- the rain shorted out all the electrical stuff. Next week we'll celebrate. LOL
 
It was a miserable night at work, but thanks for askin.
 
I spent most of my day on the road driving back from North Carolina. So no cookouts.
 
Mine was great! We spent $200 dollars just on the finale of our firework show...we had an awesome BBQ meal. Blew some #$%^ up!! Then racing all weekend long...what could be better!!?!?! B) :)
 
I blew up the deck, by accident and the tip of my pinky, but thats fixed
 
Details? Sounds like a good story, even if it does hurt to type.
 
Well, I know everyone had a better Fourth than me. Came down with a nasty case of food poisioning on Thursday night, spent 12 hours running from bed to the bathroom (I'll spare you the details of those trips.) :bleh: Diddn't get to golf on Friday cause I still felt like crap. Saturday, after the woozyness and the ringing in my ears wouldn't quit I decided to go to the walk-in clinic, only to have them send me straight to the emergency room so I could spend the next 3 hours getting fluids pumped back into me. Slept pretty much all of Sunday and back to work on Monday.
 
mlitefan01, that's too bad. It is terrible to be sick when you know others are out having a good time. Hope you are feeling better now.
 
I see everyone besides mlitefan01 had a good time. Well, hope next years is much more fun for everyone.
