pontiac took a blow when JGR left but now the will be able to put more effort into the other cars (i johnny benson will be the best out of all of them).
plus. those pontiacs are lookin pretty sweet.

I doubt they'll do any better than last year.. probably worse

I think they'll do well, all things considered. Craven and Benson will both be in the top 15 in points.

They will do worse, b/c they won't have tony to win the championship for them.

I think as soon as this year they will pull out of NASCAR.

It just seemed to me that Joe Gibbs was the only reason Pontiac was staying alive. Now that Stewart and Labonte have switched to Chevy, not being mean or anything but there really isn't a championship team running for Pontiac. Its a bunch of little teams and I think Pontiac won't be satisfied this year and maybe will pull out. I hope I'm wrong though...

Ya know, I could be wrong. I just wonder how much money Pontiac is pumping into their program this year because they will need it.

The car is gonna be strong. It's basically the same thing as the monte carlo.

I also think the Pontiac is going to be a very good car this year. And with MB2/MBV now have formed a cooperative development arrangement with Morgan-McClure it looks like they may have some very good results.

I look for nothing to be differant than last year. The best drivers will be in the top 10 no matter what they might drive. The only thing that seperates the cars is the label, and the drivers teams.;)

I look for Pontiac to leave WC real soon too. They just dont have the powerhouse teams to maintain a foothold for very long.Sad in a way.

Could be a part of the plan with GM 97.Make room for some other investments.;) Who the hell knows anymore,It's a crap game.:)

I seriously think that Pontaci will do good this year and place one of there cars in the top 10.
Pontaic is pumping alot of money into MBV/2 and PPI. They are also working with the teams with windtunnel times and other kinda of support. Pontaic is putting alot of effort into this years program.
Plus MBV/2 and Morgan McClure Motorsports have a program together. The Haas team with Jack has HMS eniges as does MBV/2, I also think that the 4 team is using HMS motors. Plus Brewco has a partnership with MBV/2 and that will help the 10 and 01 cars, which will help the 4 car, in threory the 32 and 0 cars will learn from the 01,4,10,27(bgn),37(bgn).
Basicly all the Pontaic teams will be runnign the same stuff, except PPI with there own motor program.

Pontaic will be around when Toyota come into town, and will have championship contending teams.

Yea, can't wait to see how Ricky Craven and Jerry Nadeau run them Pontaci's this year.............and just how ol Tear'em up Tony run's in that chevy.:jumping:

like i said. now that JGR is gone. pontiac will be putting more money into the cars of johnny benson, ricky craven and if they feel like it, mike skinner.
but the rest of the cars will get the crappyness like last year and the year before and so on.

ther is only 5 teams and Pontaic is putting money for sure into PPI(32) and MBV/2(01,10) So they will be set. The 4 team is working with MBV/2 so they are covered. the #0 is a satelite team of Hendrick Motorsports so they are covered. Pontaic will be strong in 2003 and will have 5 wins for the Ponatiac camp

Actually it could be a benefit to the little teams if Pontiac helps them out. When Gibbs was with Pontiac they would listen to them and ignore the rest. Now the smaller teams can have more say and get more help.
