OOOH GOODY, another Spencer fan club member.

Not to sure about spencer. I think that whole road race thing has set him back. He has even struggled in the busch series. But then again Marlin has also struggled.

I think Spencer stopped caring when they took him out of his car at Watkins Glen. I'm surprised he didn't leave the team, for the crap they give him for it.

I heard Jimmy is moving to Roush when his contract is up next year and Kurt is moving to Ganassi........Mike Helton: "We can't break up that Big Belly vs Big Ears thing. And we still haven't seen the conclusion to that Never Was/Yet to Be Saga either. So next year we are having Chip and Jack trade those two."

Actually I think Jimmy Spencer has as good chance as anyone to win Kansas. He gets slammed a lot because of his colorful talk....but what would NASCAR Winston Cup be if not for candid, off the cuff, heat of moment talk from some of it's drivers? All things considered, Jimmy isn't doing all that bad in the points. He missed Daytona (his fault and he admitted it) and Watkins Glen (Chip Ganassi's fault). Before the Watkins Glen race I did a calculation with his average points and he was in the top 20 (almost in the top 15) had he been in the Daytona race. Haven't done it again, but bet he's still about in same place if it weren't for the Glen. One of this days he's going to do it and I'm going to love reading all the crap when it happens.:D

I'ld say the Mouth of the South has a decent chance at Kansas. Ganassi fields quality cars that are on the brink of becoming consistant winners, and Spencer knows how to steer.

I read that ol Dave Marcis said that he would not enter a race he didn't think he had a chance of winning. Maybe at times it was just a snowballs chance but it was a chance just the same.

Parity has leveled the field while at the same time widening the gap between the super-haves, the haves, and the have nots. While I don't put Ganassi racing in the super-haves quite yet (it is fairly new to nascar after all) I definately put it in the haves section.

On any given Sunday...............

I would call taking Jimmy Spencer for the race a bad joke. If you put a donut on a pole and hang it on the front fo the car he may run good.LOL:D

Hey are you sure you haven't been at our club meetings!:D I would pick Jimmy, it maybe his week to win. Of course, I have to pick him, I'm a club member!
