Hows that working out

Had to love the winners response. Thanks all the competitors for whining about the horsepower, which gave him better traction....
 
so it helps them on the short, it'll hurt them on the long run though.

But i'm sure TRD/TRD/gibbs will figure out a new intake manifold/carb/camshaft configuration to use the reduced air more effectively and make that 15 back.
 
I think the best part of the race was watching Carl come from 3 laps down, getting 2 back the "old-fashioned way" and then getting the lucky dog. I wish there were more laps left to see if he could have gotten up there to challenge Kyle for the lead. It was a snooze watching him out front for almost the whole race and the "good parts" were back in the pack.

Yeah, seems like it helped Kyle on this short track. We'll see how it goes on bigger tracks, but I don't really think it will make that much difference.
 
Well, it's great for Toyota and Kyle, but that was one boring race if you ask me. What a snooze when Kyle just takes off by himself the whole race. No one could get close to him. I guess there was some action at in the mid/back, but it wasn't very exciting, although I did leave for a bit and came back when there was the first caution. It couldn't have been much since they didn't play whatever it was over and over and over.

Hate to agree with andy but any talk about dlm racing makes a discussion about california speedway a little more interesting.
