Doubt it. He knew what the deal was. Once Austin says he's ready to race in Cup full time, Harvick's gone. Better to have a job lined up before you get laid off than to be looking for a job (and not finding one) after you get laid off.

they have three cars I doubt Austin was getting Harvicks ride.

Harvick saw the writing on the wall. With both Austin and Ty coming up to race for pappy in the Cup Series the next few years he would've been a third wheel. Plus, RCR has long been an inconsistent program. This wasn't the first time Harvick's flirted with leaving.
The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.

Sometimes in sports a change works out for the best , sometimes it doesn't . I would never have guessed that change would help Kenseth and Logono ,but it seems to be working.
