"Hunting Bambi" is causing a lot of discussion. In case you haven't heard of this phenomenon...A company in Las Vegas pays these women to run around naked in the desert. Guys pay like $5000 to shoot them with paint guns. I see the moral offense to it, but I guess I just don't see why all of these womens groups are raising such a fuss about it. Prostitution is already legal in parts, if not all, of Nevada anyway. Maybe some of these hookers will remove themselves from the gene pool in this process too. ^_^
 
If those women being "hunted" are comfortable with it, why should anyone else object? I certainly hope the women get well paid.

Personally, I find it offensive. The idea of men thinking of women as hunting prey is disgusting.
 
I think it is fairly degrading to women. It looks like a bunch of cave men running around with paint guns instead of clubs. When you shoot one do you field dress it. :lol:
 
This really shouldn't be taking place. What kind of a country shoots down nude women for fun? I know it is paintballs...but think what maybe little kids might think...
 
A female radio host I heard the other day said "Well, what if the KKK wants to pay a black guy a bunch of money to run around and get shot with paint balls by white guys who pay a ton of money? Would that be OK?". I personally think that is entirely too far of a stretch of what is really going on here.

Personally, I think that humans shooting other humans with paint balls is dehumanizing and an offensive activity regardless if you are male or female; dressed or undressed.

For those of us in the shooting sports that are serious about gun safety and having the right to keep and bear arms, this kind of activity makes gun owners look bad.
 
i am a avid hunter and i do the paintball thing.
I do paintball with the sherrifs department of the town i live in. I personally find nothing dehumanizing about it.
First its a way for them to practice law enforcement tactics and second its fun. The anticipation of the next move. Whats the other guy thinking. Can you outsmart the opponent. There is nothing more scary though than going in with a bunch of guys that rarely speak, everything is hand signals.

yes i find it disgusting what they are doing with the BAMBI thing, but its their decisions and their life. i dont have anymore right to tell them not to do it than to tell them how to live their life.
 
These people have more money than sense. $10,000 is way to much money be spending on this hobby. I guess they have more than a few standing in line to get paid. Shoot, they only have to do it for a month and do nothing the rest of the year.
 
OMG that's just too funny. Hey ya know what if these woman feel the need to get naked and run around for men to shoot them with paint balls....hey their choice. And if the men are willing to pay tons of money well it's their money...
Can't say I would run around naked letting guys fire paint ball guns at me, wouldn't it sting if you get hit?

actually they do more than sting

I saw on Fox news that sometimes they even draw blood...

I say power to them, if they wanna look dumb running around naked getting shot with paint balls, go ahead. My problem with this is the fact that the paintballs might draw blood...
 
Not if you aim for the less sensitive areas,I guess?I mean like the feet or something or.....actually,I have no idea where a 'less sensitive' area would be!Hell..all areas would be sensitive if one is naked.

Sam, I don't have any problem with the paintball thing for use in training law enforcement or military. I probably should have stated that in my previous post.
 
Everybody chill out. I sent some mail to the guys running the Hunting For Bambi business thing. First, the women being shot at are Las Vegas escorts. They are not poor single mothers desperately in need money. If anything, being shot at with paintball guns is probably the least degrading part of their occupation. LOL
