I accepted a job offer today

I accepted an offer to be a salesman for the local company-owned Bridgestone-Firestone stores. I will make almost the same thing an hour as I did as a Sales Manager with Goodyear but I'll get 48 hours instead of 40 and everything over 40 is time and a half. So, in essence Goodyear dumping my salary is a very good thing. I knew it would work out, I just wasn't sure how long it would take to get another job.

Thanks to all who have chimed in. I hadn't been unemployed for nearly 10 years! It sucks even worse than I remembered. Of course, I didn't have three kids, a mortgage, a truck note, other bills, etc. at that time either.
