Hi everyone, I am new here and hope I have found a place where I can socialize about NASCAR and gripe and moan about it if I want to...

Is this the best place for me to be "in the know" and "what do you think about?" type things?

Are there other forums like this that do not delete your post if you complain?

I guess for my first post I will say I am happy I found this site, looks very cool....

and..... is it just me or was the Daytona Race last weekend freaking BORING!

I felt like i Was watching a merry-go-round for 2 hours.

Welcome to Racing-forums! :waver: You're not the only one who thought the Daytona race was boring.

Don't worry, mods don't delete posts with whining (people do it all the time). But they did delete a few posts when people went a off topic in a thread last week. :( I haven't been on other NASCAR forums (most others look like a confusing mess), so I can't compare this one to them, but you can learn stuff and be in the know on here. People on here are not afraid to share their opinions.

Just what column other than that one do you suppose you and I could fit into. Hmmmmmm? NONE. When the doors opened on that bus there was a distinct smell of ROTTEN FISH. :cool:

Same here. I got so sick of it, I watched MMA for an hour and came back for the end.
 
We were talking a day or so ago about multiple memberships and I know it would be relatively easy. I have two now by accident but do not use the other one. Also I have a spare computer that has a different IP address (actually I have 3 older spare computers with different IPs) and it would be easy to join as Cletus Driftbanger or whoever, on one or more of those. If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and smells fishy its probably a squirrel.

They have different internal IP's, but your router or modem uses just 1 external IP address. It has to do with data packets, time stamps and data stripping, but every device on the home network using a standard router / modem will send the routers or modems IP to the server. If people have mobile devices using cellular internet access, they will have their own external IP. The server I use has access to a proxy service, but I don't switch my IP.

I have Cox cable broadband and 3 different modems that I could use, that was my point but I left that part out. They are three completely seperate systems. We also have access to a proxy server but I never use it. I dont know a lot about that stuff just mostly what the techie told me that I had when I called and asked today.

Please don't use MMA and any tense of the word 'came' in the same sentence. example: Lest the Matthews Dillion boyfriend accusations syndicates mounts up a posse goes out to hunt you down. (note the proper use of goes as a substitute)

Some people are just paranoid because there was a spike in new members last weekend. It's not too often we see a new poster on here (maybe once a week or every other week), so getting half a dozen or so new posters in one weekend is unusual. The easiest explaination for some people is to say one person is making multiple accounts.
