Left(ish) to right: 3 desktop monitors, Compaq Presario C100 (2004), Dell Inspiron 1501 (2007), HP Dv9000 (2008), and NEC Versa 2435CD (1996- I kept the windows 95 hard drive for relics, and put 2000 on it to make it half useful)

That said, I have laptops with Windows 95, 2000, XP, vista, and 7. All I need is one with 98 to make it a complete set :p

I have four laptops right now. One of them is actually for friends, if they ever need to borrow one.... because when you have three other laptops, what the hell?

I have a 5th laptop on my desk right now that I'm de-virusing.

For the electricians that (don't) need a heart attack...

Compaq C100: 65 watt charger
HP DV9000: 65 watt charger
Dell 1501: 65 watt charger
NEC Versa: 36 watt charger
UPS says the 3 screens + desktop are pulling 290 watts. The HTPC probably pulls another 150 or so. The server across the room pulls 90 watts at idle.

Let's do an itemized list of the outlets in my room.....

router #1 (10 watts)
desk lamp (60 watts)
Home theatre PC (150 watts)
Left monitor, Right monitor, Main deskop, center monitor (290 watts)
router #2 (10 watts)
speakers (???)
racing wheel (42 watts)
3 laptop chargers + video camera charger + 2 printers (180-200 watts)
server (90 watts)
server monitor (50 watts)
router #3 (10 watts)
--------------
892 watts (7.43 amps) across 2 duplexes. Not too bad, actually.

Feel free to send one my way. Lappy already said he'll send me his when it finally conks out :p Why recycle at the big store when I can just horde it here and re-incarnate it?

Actually, I feel the need for another laptop.

I'll trade you... my Lenovo IdeaPad Y510 (needs cosmetic repairs) for either the Dv9000 HP or the DELL Inspiron. The HP would make a great home computer.

I've actually had to run DOSBOX before, since it no longer runs natively on windows NT (good reason to keep that win95 hard drive ;) )
yep, dosbox runs on linux also. wine (wine is not an emulator) runs all the windows programs i care to use under linux.

DOS (disk operating system), I wonder how many here even know anything about it? Does anyone even use it now days? Heck, I used the attributes command not that long ago just to see if I remembered how.
