My Fox Sports Net will not be showing WC qualifying. They are showing a Dallas Stars hockey game. :flushed:

yes it is on tonight after WindTunnle with Dave Despain, which is on at 11:30est so cup qual will be on at 12 est
 
Yeah, I'm stuck with basketball on my FSN, which isn't really even a Fox station. It's Comcast Sports Net and they just pick up stuff from Fox Sports every now and then. I don't know if I can stay up to midnight to watch qualifying. -_-

Buy hey, Mike Modano, Jere Lehtinen, Bill Guerin, Derian Hatcher....at least you have a great hockey team to watch!

Texas has such a rich hockey history. In fact, it was the Baron von Houstonstein that revolutionized the game. This innovative genius was the man who initially utilized frozen cow turds to slap across his pond in an effort to chase off armadillos.

well I might keep an eye peeled on Speed for a bit.

Originally at 4:30 ET they were gonna have BGN qualifying. Looks like the WC cars will parcticing then, so maybe tune in and catch some of that, don't know.

Now that BGN qualifying is moved to the later slot, I don't know who wil pick it up, maybe FSN, maybe Speed.

Speed was scheduled to have a replay of WC qualifying at 8:30, now that will be real close to live time, so maybe they will pick that up live.

Almost 4:30 now, Spedd should update ya on who will have what.

btw, here we don't have FSN at all, we have CSN (Comcast Sports Net) which is sorta kinda affiliated with FSN when they wanna be. If it involves NASCAR they don't wanna be very often. I can't see why FSN and Speed don't just show it at the same time. Would not miss a lot.

Don't forget Trackside later tonite on Speed either.
 
Are you in my area (lehigh valley, pa) HS? You're right, CSN routinely passes up Nascar in their programming choices.
 
Yep, one of the Philly 'burbs.

I was very surprised when CSN was actually carrying qualifying from the Rock, and not the least surprised when they went to Hockey Writers Coffee Klatch (or whatever the hell its called) before it was over. :angry:
 
I just checked speed channel. They are showing 'men behind the wrenchs and past champions" At the end of every program, 58 min after the hour, they give a live update. As of now, Busch qualifying is cancelled, there will be practice(?) and then cup qualifying. Mike Joy said, they have lights, so I would suspect the cup qualifying will go on as soon as the track is dry. Don't panic, just keep checking speed channel.
 
This is my official 100 th post! Thaniks goodness for the SPEED channel - good racing shows on there! :D
