...but I'm ready for some Autumn weather. I look at the calendar, and it says October, but it is just now starting to feel like it. And we still have Dogwood Summer to get through. The colors should start changing any time now. I mean on the trees, not...oh never mind. Bring on some fall temps!!
 
Hey TnWard we already had frost on the punkins,leaves are getting real colorful.Had to build a fire last night.Msbunch,and I set by the fire,and sipped on some Bailys,and did a little marriage maintence after we kicked the 2 dogs,and cats out of the room. :D

So, pb, i guess there's no frost on the punkin today :p

I guess my northern blood has thinned cuz I think its cold when I don't have to turn on the AC!!!!

No real color expected this year because of the drought....leaves are expected to just turn brown and falling off the trees.

I bet Stridesberry's color peak has already passed in VT.
 
Our leaves have already changed and are on the ground. Still waiting for the big freeze though
 
No snow yet but ice on the water bowl sure confused our 6 month old lab/husky puppy. :)

BTW We really don't have a dog team. One puppy, one cat, and a few neighborhood moose are all the pets we can handle. Considering a chicken coop but getting the big ugly face from wife and kid. :)

Congrats on the mortgage. Now go convince the old biddy she wants to move.
 
it's only about 75 here but it's raining. I finally get a day off during the week and it rains ughhh.
 
75 here today. The heck with fall, bring on the snow. I just ordered my new skis, and we need a good hard winter to bring the snow packs back up to snuff. And if I get to enjoy some moguls in the meantime...so be it :)
 
For some reason, the mental picture of Yosemite Sam on snow skis just....ain't.
 
Temp is in the 50's here today. The trees are turning lovely shades of yellow, red, and gold. This is my favorite time of the year. My a/c unit has been put to bed.
 
It's quickly getting cooler here in NY, after something of an extended summer. Today it was in the low 60's, cloudy, rainy and miserable.

Great, now the weather matches my disposition of late. :rolleyes:
