I finally completed the bath and a half portion of my remodeling project. I added a half bath (toilet and vanity) in my bedroom and totally redid my bathroom. I ripped everything out including the floor, subfloor, old-style porcelain tub, vanity and toilet. I put in a shower-tub assembly, new vanity, and toilet. I took off 4 days from work to get it done. I can't wait to get back to work tomorrow to get some rest! :p Seriously I have been working pretty much from 7am to around midnight all week trying to beat the deadline. It has been rough, but it is almost totally complete. My brain is so fried right now I may not be making much sense. If so, sorry. Goodnight now.

Wow! You've been busy! I wondering where you were the last couple days. It seems like everyone is getting spring fever and doing their little home improvement projects. You did go to Home Depot for all your supplies right? :D :D
I bet your bathroom looks great. Was the tub you took out an old claw foot? I love those and a lot people will pay good money for those.

You got your supplies at Lowe's didn't you. If your not busy this weekend, my bathroom could use a makeover. :p

Actually I tried to go to Lowe's for as much as I could. I ended up going to Home Depot for quite a bit though because they are a lot closer to my house. Lowes's has better prices and much more helpful and knowledgable people working there. Not to mention the fact that they have a more likable Winston Cup driver B) . But I've still spent over $1000 with both places so they should both be happy. My kitchen is next, but it can wait a few weeks until I recouperate from this project and sell my car so I can afford the kitchen job.

And no the tub does not have the clawfoot base. It has the cradle type base. The tubs are the same I believe, but the cradle bolts on to the bottom this one. I called around about selling it and haven't gotten much interest. I actually have to sell a one-piece shower assembly now too. I bought it from my brother and it wouldn't fit through the doorway to get it into the bathroom.

Congratulations on your project, 4x. You are more than welcome to come to Texas and redo MY bathroom! (j/k) ;)
