So, this morning when I got up to go to work, I was really Fired up to listen to my brand new "Velvet Revolver" CD on my way to work. So I got to my car and I think "wow, I don't remember leaving my door locked and open" then I realize, someone stole my cd player and all the cds I had in the car...which really sucks because the CDs I had in there were the good ones. Some of which my girlfriend gave to me and some of which we made together...so I was really bummed out. So I called the police...which was really a waste of time...then I went out vigilante style checking out the pawn shops...nothing. So I took one for the team and went and had another one put in...good bye 170 dollars...hello MP3 cds and Sirius ready deck. Whatever the hell good that does me, I don't know, but if my damn dogs had made ANY noise when all of this was happening, I keep a louisville slugger right by the front door and would have had that MFs brains for breakfast...thanks a lot dogs. OH...and no one else in the neighborhood had anything stolen. This really sucks, if anyone has the cds I lost, maybe you can copy them for me and i can pay for the shipping, I'll try to post a list sometime soon.

been there, but they took the truck not justs the CD player, think that was the maddest i have ever been. now that i look back on it i'm glad i didn't catch them would probly be doin 25 to life.

I must be getting old. After having looked at Velvet Revolver's Official Website I would probably thank someone if they stole their CD from me.

Really sucks losing the player tho.

well, being a guns n roses fan, it was hard NOT to get the cd the day it came out, but I guess I'm just a stupid kid.

I don't think it was necessary to make this statement. :(

I'm really sorry that your vehicle was broken in to and that your cd player and cd's were stolen. I probably can't help with making any of the cd's that were stolen from you. But if you post the list, maybe, just maybe, someone else here has the same taste in music that you do and can help you out. ;)

Sorry to hear that someone broke into your car. I had the same thing happen to me several years ago.
I have a security system in my house with a sign in the front yard. After the break-in (of my car), I added a new sign on my garage (next to cars parked outside). It says "Protected by AR-15 and Colt 45". I've had no problems since.

P/S I like the song on the radio by VR. I also like the Jet song "Cold Hearted...". I also like "Readneck Woman" by that lady singer (??).

Hate to here that buddy! :(

If someone broke in my house or car, they sure wont be walking out under there own power.

That's a bummer, but at least they didn't take your car. I had that happen to me before, had 1971 ss camaro, nice car....kids decided to break into it and take it joy riding for the evening. The car was never the same , beat the crap out of it and i had to sell it soon after. By the way i hear the Velvet Revolver cd rocks?

Oh, man, esor, that really sucks. All you can do is replace the stuff and carry on. Don't let it get to you. A nice LOUD alarm might help --- with a remote that sounds inside the house.

Had my car stolen right out of the driveway one night --- a 1985 442. Got it back because the remote woke us up, and we stopped the guys before they got too far.

Had a CD case stolen a year ago. It sucked cause like you said, I had all my favorites in there. Still have not replaced any of them.

I'm just sick of snippy little comments downplaying my choices of driver/music selection anything. I think its ridiculous that some of these things are tolerated. Perhaps judging a band by their website is much like judging a book by its cover...I choose to let the actualy music/past musical reputation of the band influence my decisions and not some website designed to sell merchandise.

Considering my taste in music, the last thing I worry about is someone stealing it.

It's all in fun. We all love racing or we wouldn't be here. Most cheer for their favorite driver (I'm one of the nuts that cheers for a car brand).

Most of us like music (just different types). I will state that rap has chased me away from rock at times. I've found that there is alot of good country music out there. I may kid someone who likes rap, but I'd never flame anyone just because they like it.

your to uptight axle, every time someone contradicts you you think they are taking a shot at you personally. Its not that way. Thats what is so great about this country, people have choices and opinions, and the right to express thim. If someone doesn't agree with you doesn't mean they are taking a shot at you.

I think it stinks that you spend your money on things that you enjoy. Then some blood sucking parasite that I dout know the meaning of the word work takes it from you. Than really does suck.

That sucks!

I had my car stolen on my 21st b-day! I knew the guy who did it and even saw him take it but the police couldn't do anything about it because the guy wrecked it in a feild and left the scene. So they said they could not prove he took it! I asked them why they couldn't fingerprint the car, but they wouldn't. I had to pay for it to be towed. It had 3 flat tires and bent rims. The Rods were knocking in the motor and somehow he broke the windshield and burned a cigarette hole in the drivers seat! I was so mad, cuz I ended up having to just buy another car! That was a really bad b-day for me!

Looks like he know the right people. Look like to me if they had a eye witnesse they could have taken him in. :(

There were three of us who saw him take it too! But, I later heard that he got arrested for stealing someone else's car and was caught driving it. So he ended up spending some time in Jail for that!

boy that really stinks............sorry to hear that........I hate thieves..makes me mad.......
