In 2004 i got an 2002 Sunfire with around 20,000 miles on it. Well about two weeks ago i was going to work, i just gased it up and was driving down the Parkway and it started running rough. and shut off. Dang fuel pump went out!

125,000 and the fuel pump desides to go out! Wonder whats next??

It's been a really good car, and this is the only problem ive had, so im happy with it! :)

What engine do you have in it? I've never heard much good about the Cavalier/Sunfire, but my guess is if you can find one with a 2.2L Ecotec, it'll get the job done. Otherwise your just wasting your time with nearly the same engines from the horrid 80s GM cars. Just what I would figure anyway, I may be wrong.

Do yourself a favor, get a pump from NAPA. I don't know who makes the pumps for AutoZone but they are krap with a capital K.
Put three (3) of them in my daughters Jimmy.
Be careful with those weird connections on the lines. Buy new lines at the dealer if you have too, those replacement/repair line kits are 20 bucks each and worthless.
