I have a dilema

Ok here is the deal.... Madonna is coming to LA next week and I have an opportunity to buy tickets for my wife and I to go.....She is a big Madonna fan, and I wouldn't mind seeing her.... The Dave Mathews Band is coming to LA in August and I really want to see them again.. She has never seen them, but would like to go.

To appease my wife... what the heck should I do. For me it is the DMB.. For her... Madonna. Has anyone seen Madonna in concert? Is it worth it?

Personally, I'd vote for C: euthenasia. But that's just me.

Madonna probably won't be touring too many more times. DMB may have more life left in them. Hence, I'd lean more toward the Material Girl. I mean, gravity HAS to kick in someday, doesn't it?

EMP - you're too funny...

Personally I would rather see DMB. It's a difference in type of show. Madonna's will be a spectacle, no doubt. Lots of dancing, lights, special effects....

When I saw DMB (granted this was before he was big) it was just the band. They actually can play! I judge a band by how they perform live. If they can actually pull off playing their music in a live venue, then they get a check mark! You'd be really suprised how many get 'X's...sorry Guns & Roses, you stink...but I digress...

So, if you want to see a 'good' band perform, go to Dave Matthews, BUT if you want to watch an MTV video live, wonder where that music is coming from, and get to see skantily clad women shaking their money makers all night, go to the Madonna show...

...hmmmm.... that Madonna thing is sounding better....

i'm not that big on madona so i would go with the dave matthews band or however u spell it

lol

see.. i am a DMB fan. The only reason to go see Madonna is because of the wife.... DAMN!!!

Personally i never thought DMB was that good.....you know that Madonna will "put on a show"!!! In a big venue like LA. i wouldn't want to miss that, even though i'm not a huge fan. Could be a concert that you talk about for years.... in order to get in good with the wife it is no contest....Madonna...lol. :D

Can you believe the Madonna ticket are ALREADY SOLD OUT!

Amazing I know.

pssst- You're welcome....
;)

Speaking of concerts ...i'm going to see : Cold,7Dust,and Adam Ship at the Colorado Music Hall monday night....should be a rocking show...tics were only $11.00.

For your own health if your wife is a big Madonna fan. My advice is to take her to see Madonna.

Do you enjoy your marriage? Love your wife? enough said!

You don't want to go thru this.........

I'd go with Madonna.,......I heard last night........she has to take 18 semi's for her tour..for all her stuff.............

Let's see...that'd be 4 for lighting, 3 for wardrobe, 1 for sound equipment, 4 for men, 4 for women, 1 for animals, and the last one for Geritol. :D

See the 18 trucks is where I draw the line. Some of the best musicians in the world could tour in van towing a U-Hual trailer!

17 of those trucks are filled with stuff to distract you from how bad Madonna's music really is!

You know the truth is (and the good news since you seem to be leaning towards DMB), you probably WILL have trouble getting tickets.

Ok guys... here is what happened. It has been a heck of a day. For all of you from LA, I listen to KLSX 97.1 the FM Talk station. I WON MADONNA Tickets!!!! :bounce: No kidding. So I don't have to pay them, and now have enough $$$ for DMB. I win in both ways. Keep my wife happy and get to see Madonna. I look like a sensitive guy huh? The concert is on Monday, so I will have to come back and tell you how it was. Thanks for all your advise.

Unfortunately no its Sammy Hagar but Sammy isnt that bad. ALthough a reunion with Van HAlen and David Lee Roth would almost be as big as the Beatles gettin back together.

If you could find me a resurrect spell to bring George Harrison and John Lennon back from the dead, then that'd be jolly good!
