What has beedie done to warrant 3 strikes?? I don't hang here much but have yet to read anything from said poster that constituted a bash towards a fellow poster. Haven't seen no-no pics posted haven't seen spamming.....are you all so closed minded and power hungry???...so said posters opinions differ from yours...so he/she doesn't sugar coat their post...I guess I just don't see where you all are comming from here?!?!?!

...and yes i have seen said poster on other boards.... have LMAO at beedie and have choosen to ignore if i don't like
 
In answer to your question: There have been instances of baiting, reinforcing stereotyping, profiling and just plain rude behavior. Forum members have complained about the nature of some of his posts. (sexual inuendo)
This is a nice place, sometimes you have to take out the riff-raff to keep the place clean.

If you feel the need to discuss ths further, please feel free to PM any of the mods.
 
Said poster has been here before and banned before. His posts only cause problems and they usually turn ugly really fast.

Now, if you think we are so closed minded and power hungry, you can leave too.

We try to run a clean and fun board. Sometimes, things get out of hand, Beedie has been warned time and time again. He continues to post things that are uncalled for, such as his post trying to get a date for a race.

If you want to read his posts, I'm sure TR has several listed.

Beedie is well known, not only to us, but to most folks here.

The best way to cure a cancer is to cut it out before it has a chance to fester.

I'm not a Mod. but I wasn't too impressed but some of his comments.
 
I had a couple of run in with beedie on TR board. I like this place and the Mods. keep it under controll. Best board on the net.
 
I agree this is a really cool place and i enjoy the heated debates we have, good way to wake up before i head off to my third shift job.:D
 
I guess all I am saying is at least let the guy/gal give you a reason to ban them first.
 
As with any forum, the owner(s) and moderator(s) may do as they deem fit to insure the integrity of the forum and it's community.

We are all guests here and have a choice to stay or leave. If we stay, we must abide by guidelines set fourth by the above mentioned.

What fly's in one forum doesn't in another. A forum I run may be a little on the strict side but it helps keep the riffraff down to a minimum and most members like that.
 
Coming from another Australian Forum, which unfortunately has a great deal of riffraff, and that's the main reason I don't post there any longer, so it would be very sad indeed if that were to happen to this forum and I think as guest, like highboy90 has said, we should trust the judgement of the mods. And I'd just like to add I think it's fantastic that you know who the mods are and you can question them regarding all forum matters. For some reason the forum I came from the mods decided to keep it a secret that they were mods, and being friends with those mods you realise how hard the job can get....sometimes there are matters that we guests don't all realise. They found through ISP numbers that regular members were making 'fake' new ID's to have a good ol' go at people they didn't like but wouldn't dare say it in their everyday ID!

Keep up, from I have seen already, a great job!
 
Being a moderator at "another place" I too have banned Beedie. (Along with many other forums.) The main problem is that all of his/her posts is that they are all aimed at starting arguments. Usually about NASCAR fans. The Stereotypical comments seems to outrage people. The mods here have made a good decision. Beedie makes all NASCAR fans look bad.

This is a good forum- I like to escape here =to get away. & don't get down on your mods. It's a hard job. It's very hard to keep all posters happy.

Ahhh Shucks- I can't stand to see Mods take heat. :)

I visit now & then, But have been kept REALLY busy lately. I will try to be better & visit more often.
