With Brian Vickers is out of the Cup series it seems like, which I thin is ridiculous, I decided it was time to find a new driver. So I thought, wondered, pondered, discussed, debated, and came to a sombering yet surprising conclusion. My new driver is Kyle "Rowdy" Busch. This is surprising, I know. But I weighed talent and potential, and the fact that he saved my ass a few times in the Racing Forums Game last year weighed a little heavy. I still dont like him, and part of this might be spite considering my favorites usually struggle(been a Marlins fan since I was 9, outside of the 2 years of bliss it was 17 years of misery, been a Southern Illinois fan since I was crawling and they have fallen off a cliff, etc.). But for right now, Rowdy is my #1, the fact that he is an epic douche notwithstanding.

If she was driving at the same time I would be impressed. Or if she looked as if she had a couple of midgets in a headlock.
 
This is the worst thing i have ever heard, I would rather show up to races in Vickers gear, screaming his name, and have people look at me like like I am nuts than have them look at me in disgust by supporting that clown. Awful, just awful..

That is exactly what happened to us Stewart fans his first few years. :D

Top ten in merchandise sales are, Junior,Jeff Gordon, Kasey Kane,Jimmy Johnson, KYLE,Tony Stewart,Harvick,Kenseth, Edwards, Hamlin. Thats a lot of fans.
 
I didn't mean that I was a Kyle fan, Peyton, I was just curious why a man promoting his webstite would alienate that many people.

You're not the typical Kyle fan. You call it like it is. Too many KB fans make the most rediculous excuses for the guy.

What are your odds on finally seeing the mythic, and ever elusive, 'New Kyle Busch' this year?

FB, I would like to say that it is a 100% certainty - but I know better...

For the first half of the season he will be very respectful and probably won't have stellar results. But when he finds himself 14th in points come Race Number 18, he will revert to his "old self".

I really feel that NASCAR let him do what ever he wanted for too long, and that led directly to his free for all at Texas. He's been running guys over in the lower series for a long, long time. If he hits midseason and only has a few wins, he'll start melting down again. I'm not sure taking away his win fix and agressive outlets in truck and NW is going to help him. If HIS NW team is being beaten by Gibbs week after week, it's going to get ugly.
 
Kyle is going to change and grow up.Probably sooner than later . What will change him is the very same thing that changed every one of his rowdy predecessors. Sponsors . He just can't keep letting them down and get away with it .As a car owner that is lose..lose.

Walking thru the woods they came on a pile of deer scat, the grandfather bent over picked up a few examined them for a moment showed them to the grandson then to the grandson's Horror popped a couple in his mouth chewed a moment then turned to the grandson and said "yep there's a big Buck out here". Little did the grandson know grandpa had a pocket full of Sugar Babies!

Funny ow we can really, really, really, dislike someone so much ( "he is an epic douche") yet recognize them for their talent when it is to our advantage. But, in fairness, Spike, at least you make no bones about how you feel and put all reasons, the good, the bad and the ugly, on the table. We know where you stand. And that is a good thing. I always felt the same way about Stewart and Earnhardt, Sr., dislking them both but not being able to shake the fact they are two of the best, ever, in NASCAR.
