The pole the dish was mounted on, rusted through and fell over. Tech just got finished mounting new dish --- the other was bent.

Grats TRL, I know you are tickled to have it back.
Just curious, could you receive broadcast TV through a converter box without Dish? I went converter box TV only a few months back and get 27 channels through it, thanks to being in the right location, I guess.
And MeTV is about all I've watched since, lol.

97, I have DirecTV. Other than DISH, it's my only option. No cable out here in the boonies, and unless I put up a 100ft mast, no over-the-air option either.

Got ya, TRL.....at my old place across county, I dropped cable with the intent of getting DirectTV or Dish network but due to trees( so I was told anyhow; but then I did have a LOT of trees) the installers said it wouldn't be effective.
I did however mount a 30 foot antenna on the top of my house and got a few over-the-air converter box stations. Here where I now live though, I get a staggering 27 over the air channels, so I'm tickled, lol. I will never go back to cable or satellite if I can help it.
