Most flea markets are complete crap but there are a few really good ones. Love the Jockey Lot in Anderson, SC. Always find a ton of deals, and i sold there sometimes when I lived in SC for a couple of years. Always was sure to come out of there with a few hundred extra bucks in my pocket. Flea markets in my area (NE Ohio) are a joke though, I could buy stuff online and pay for shipping for less money than those people want. Completely useless
Never really found much race stuff I wanted, when I did find it, it was uncommon stuff. Found a couple of truck series diecasts that never show up on ebay..

Well I picked these up at a NE Ohio flea market. 
Which market? Isn't it below freezing there now? Flea markets dont usually start getting active until May or maybe April in NE Ohio. Was it an indoor flea market? I have not went into one of those forever, every time seems like its the same vendors, with the same overpriced junk thats been sitting there for 10 years.

Hartville Flea Market. It is indoors, but I hadn't been to it in a while.
ah yeah, i've been there a few times. never really found much, and when i did it was just overpriced, but the vendors did tell me it was a good deal....
i pretty much gave up on Ohio flea markets a couple of years ago. When i'm in SC (usually to go to Greenville Pickens Speedway) i try to make sure and stop at the Jockey Lot. So much better than any other flea market i've been to.

They are overpriced, but most of the vendors there will come down a lot.

It's not very far from me, but I've never been there. I would probably enjoy most of it, but large crowds of people aren't my thing. Concerts, gun shows and really good sporting events are about the only things that will get me around a huge crowd usually.
Flea markets used to be good around me, but like many others ours are now mostly new junk at ridiculous prices. We used to have a bunch of dealers who specialized in NASCAR collectibles, but now there's only one or two vendors who happen to have a few collectibles amongst a lot of made-in-Asia trinkets. I used to go at least once a month, but got so discouraged that now I only go maybe once a year... and get re-discouraged.
