Dog show here today. We put our Siberian down 3 years ago last Dec. With the babies coming we acted like adults and put off getting another.
Local shelters will be there and they will have a ''puppy pit'' where toddlers can go in and interact with the puppies..
I'm doomed I tell ya.

I picked up a puppy last night for my wife and son. Jack Russell/Min Pin mix. It is so small, it can sit in my hand.

No puppy. According to my wife the hoity doity dog owners had a look of panic on their faces when the boys got close to their dogs. The shelter people acted like their had better things to do and were rude, kids had to be 5 years old to enter the puppy pit. Boys were heartbroken.
So they went off to Wright's farm which has a small petting zoo, calf's and goats and a few chickens & ducks running around. The boys loved it.

ps, their bakery is going to ruin my figure,,,,dammit.:)
But their stuff is sooooo good.

Wrights bakery, They make their own pastries from scratch, fresh eggs and cream really makes a difference. What diet??..:)

Watching our pit bulls play with my grand daughter warms my heart ......... kids and dogs are like peas and carrots :booya:

My friends pit bull thinks it's a 10 lb. lap dog.

I'm pretty sure all pitties think they are lap dogs. I never had a pit bull at my boarding and daycare facility that didn't try to climb into my lap at least once.

I love pitties. I follow a couple of them on facebook and instagram.

Right now, at this moment, I have a new kitten chewing on the butt of my jeans. She is really young, her mom is feral. I can't tell what she is but I named her Hazel. If she turns out to be a boy, I'm in trouble. I have no boy names.
