I might become a Brad Keselowski fan...

I think you are forgetting about the Crew chief he lost.

He lost his crew cheif (gee, look, penske is suddently in the picture), but like they said on broadcast, he's calmed down alot. He's giving other room rather than the "checkers or wreckers" mentality.

so is this calming down beneficial to his winning races? would fans prefer the old kyle if his kinder and gentlier persona turns into him a good but not necessarily great racer? i don't think bad brad has the skills or natural instinct to be the villian kyle was/is. i miss the old kyle also. <g>

I agree as well. I think with time Kez can turn into a good if not great racer. He is doing pretty well for his first full time cup season. However, he just doesn't have the "it" factor of being the villian that Kyle does. I too miss the old Kyle.

However, anyone that wants to play the villian, can achieve this by doing getting to that point the same way Kyle did. Be an advisary to Junior. Wreck him or make an off handed comment about him. 95% of the Nascar population will hate you. (Not including me however) :D

True, but JR has it all. Who else can wake up, decide which hat he wants to wear, black/or white, go out and do it, and be embraced, accepted?
Friggin awesome!!!!!!

Kyle's biggest detractor is that he comes off as an ungrateful, spoiled individual who thinks the world owes him something. You see it in his manorisms.
Maybe the truck ownership thing is changing the way he views things.

It's funny, around the time Kyle started running his mouth on Jr. particularly when Jr did the whole crew chief swap. Kyle made some pretty scathing remarks, thats around the same time Kyle's results started to suck and then he didn't make the chase. Aint karma a *****!? Lol!!

Isn't Kyle getting ready to get married? Also maybe him not racing in every nascar series has calmed his jets.

There is a training period for everyone who comes in to the Sprint Cup Series or sudden fame for any reason. Simply put, some handle it better than others and some over come the negative obstacles quicker than others. Tony Stewart was a star in his own world until he got to the big leagues of NASCAR's primo series and then it took him three or four years under the tutelage of Joe Gibbs to get himself under control.
Kyle Busch was no better and extremely young whereas Joey Lagano is quite the opposite and even younger.
If we reflect on our own personal years of growing and maturing, we can recall times when we noted either ourselves or others who were immature for a specific age and those who seemed to be wise beyond their years.
Look at Tony Stewart, Kurt and Kyle Busch today and compare them to how they used to behave on and off the track.

I want the jerk Kyle back behind the wheel. Getting married, starting the truck team, and new crew chief seems to have calmed him down a bunch. I also think having just average equipment has hurt a little too.

This story has played out so many times in Nascar, that it is getting boring.Young guy gets rep as a hard charger in another series.Gets noticed by folks in Nascar.Makes his way into the big show with his hard charging ways.Oh no they say.He 's too crazy.Bumping people, causing crashes, who does he think he is?He's showing no respect.Woops he has started to win races.Gathers some fans who like his hard charging ways. Now he's established, owner and sponsors say tone it down some.So now he's one of the guys.Oh !Oh! here's another young hot head,Who does "he" think he is? Substitute any of a hundred names, from today or twenty years ago.Seems like yesterday it was Happy,no.. Kurt,no ..Tony,no.. Kyle, no ..Kaz ,no ..I think now its almost time for the next one.

You make my eyes hurt. You do know there is supposed to be spaces between sentences?

Crew chief change a biggie, look how the other Busch is running now. Even Kurt admitted during the post race interview. Kurt said something to the effect of Addington is making the Busch brothers look good.

Kurt can be superbad on his radio!! He's doing better now, so he's better on the radio. I think the Gibbs cars are not up to par this year. Denny Hamlin isn't finishing all that great either and Joey's had some trouble even though he qualified well. Sorry, but you don't just lose things over-night & become a new person as far as Kyle goes. Sure, he's getting older and maturing. He might even be in a mellow stage with just getting engaged and to tell the truth, he's feeling more accepted. Oddly it's been by being on Twitter and actually talking to people and joking around, etc. People who couldn't stand him at all have been saying they may just have to start liking the guy. He does come off a lot different there. After one race when they reported something negative about him, he got on Twitter right off to clear it up w/the fans. Weird, I know.

I still think it's the cars and if Kyle doesn't end up winning soon, he won't be able to take it for long and you'll see the "old Kyle" sooner than later. :angel2:

It will be a cold day in hell when I become a Brad fan. He has enough young girls falling all over themselves. Coincidentally, they are also Jr. fans. Hmmm...now if Brad wants to become a real bad boy, let him mess with his old boss. He won't now what hit him! LOL
