I missed the race, but what a race to miss

I missed the race at Watkins Glen as we were coming back from Columbus. We spent the weekend there for my son's Karate tournament. I hated to miss the race, but as it turns out it was a great race to miss. I found it on the radio and when I heard Jeff was on the pole, I got excited. Then I heard Biffle took him out in the very first lap and I turned off the radio. If I have to miss a race, I can't think of a better one than one Jeff does lousy in or one Robby Gordon wins. This race had both of my least favorite things rolled into one. <_<

Believe it or not, 4x, it was a rather good race! Biffle screwed up, but Jeff was on his way back to the front. At one point during a restart, it was rather ironic that Biffle was in front of Jeff, and the guys in the booth were wondering what would happen. Nothing did, but it was interesting none the less. Again, I thought it was a good race, even if I didn't particularly like the ending.

Maj. is right 4x, for a road course it was a pretty interesting race. Also in the closing laps there were three different groups of cars on three different pit stratagies.

4x, I feel your pain. Back in May, I had to scrounge radio channels for the Dover race. Couldn't find anything across the whole state of Mississippi ---- not even cell phone service.

It was an interesting road race.

Jeff would have still finished in the top ten if Harvick wouldn't have turned him around.

the watkins glen race was a pretty good race by itself.
but jeffy's bad luck was icing on the cake;D

It was a very good race... Even though I'm not a fan, I felt bad for Jeff when Harvick spun him out on the last turn...

Both RC races this year have been pretty good, both with very interesting endings.

That's why IMO NASCAR needs a couple more road courses, they are always exciting. :D
