i would appricate it if one of u could tell me how to get an advatar or pic to show up on my post

First, go up to the top of the page and click "User CP"

Second, when the page comes up, on the left, click "Edit Avatar". The page that comes up will allow you to download a small pic to use as your avatar.

majestyx can help you resize a pic if it is too large.
