Snag, okay, now I see. Well, good luck. Just remember one thing that is really important about the QC and that is the Mississippi River. The other professional teams located there are the Riverbandits (baseball), Thunder (basketball) and Steamwheelers (af2 Arena Football League).
A little background for your help. The Quad Cities is a community along the Mississippi River with cities on both sides of the river, two states, both Iowa and Illinois. The largest city is Davenport, Iowa, but they play in Moline, Illinois where the headquarters of John Deere is located. Also included in those cites are, but not limited to, Bettendorf, IA, LeClaire, IA, Rock Island, IL, and Moline, IL. The arena is locted in Moline at the "Mark of the Quad Cities". Both states have riverboat gambling so that too could play into the roll, but that might also be a hinderance. The QC was mostly a community made up of agricultural manufacturing plants, with brands like Deere, International Harverster, Case and Catepillar. However, much of that has dissappeared and the community is now much more diverse. I really don't know why the fox has been designated at part of the mascot because the area isn't known to have many of them. But if that is what they want, so be it. I wouldn't however, try to base the mascot on a "desert fox" as it's far from a desert there. If you can incorporate something about the river with the fox, you might have a winner, but then again, there might be a million designs on that idea.
Good luck.
