... but it looks like I'm stuck going to University of Maryland Things didn't work out the way I had hoped for moving to Florida.

It also looks like there's going to be no racing for me since UMD and UMBC are in the middle of the city.

I know this doesn't sound like much, but Andy, you are young and have many years ahead of you. Get your education and then go where you want. Remember, if what you want isn't where you are, find it elsewhere. One of the biggest problems with unemployment is that there are too many people who insist on staying where they are. But I know in your case, you don't want to stay where you are so the country is wide open for you...after your education.
