No driver has ever scored their first career Sprint Cup win at Las Vegas, and no driver has ever won in their first Sprint Cup race at Las Vegas with the exception of Mark Martin in the inaugural.

I'd say things are looking good this weekend for guys like Kyle, Harv, Jimmie and Carl.

Since they increased the banking on LVMS in 2007 there has only been 3 different winners.

Carl Edwards (2008 and 2011)
Jimmie Johnson (2007 and 2010)
Kyle Busch (2009)

Hell, if you look back to 2003 there have only been 4 different winners. Adding a couple more wins for Johnson and Kenseth.

Interesting , but three of the top teams are represented ,meaning that all of their teammates have access to setups etc. .Just a matter of time before a teammate pulls off a win.
