I don't think so either, eventho I would be fine having the #3 back on the track.
Don't count on it. That is Childress's number and I wouldn't be a bit suprised if he did put it back on the track one day. Also knowing that Dale would be pleased having Burton in his rides that would make it that much easier.
The BLACK #3 will never be back on the track; as said by NASCAR and RCR at Dale's Memorial service, but their could be a RED #3. I also think though that Dale Jr (eventhough talentless even with Daddy's name) wants to be himself; and make the #8 synonymous for DALE JR and his own accomplishments.
