Early last year when he was crashing every week I said Jack should fire him. I honestly didn't think he would amount to anything in Nationwide but here we are he's gonna get the Championship today.

big difference a year makes. i like ricky very much. not sure if he'll have a great cup career but he's a nice guy and i wish him well.

IMO, Stenhouse will win a Cup championship or 2. Just listen to Carl on the radio trying to figure why Ricky is so fast, then trying to run the same line.

i still can't let go of the acra title race with stenhouse and speed....

gotta give credit though. he earned this title.

Congrats to Stenhouse on his NNS Championship. I hope he gets smarter and signs with a Chevy team. Otherwise he could become the next Logano. :D

biffle is on his downside, stenhouse is still young.

Greg Biffle got to Cup too late. He didn't start in trucks until 1998 at age 28, and won the championship in 2000 when he was 30. He went to NW in 2001 and won the championship the next year. He went fulltime cup when he was 32, and finished 35 points behind Stewart in 2005. He just missed being the first driver to win a championship in all 3 series.

Ricky is a unique talent, and he's very young. Just 23 years old, and he keeps getting better. The guy is FAST, and he has learned to drive a car over the edge without wrecking. He'll wreck a bunch his first year in cup, but he'll get it under control and become a chase regular.
