Boy sometimes this would be so grand! Just to able to sit and let somelse worry, those were the days

I RESIGN

I am hereby officially tendering my resignation as an adult.

I have decided I would like to accept the responsibilities of an 8 year-old again.

I want to go to McDonald's and think that it's a four star restaurant.

I want to sail sticks across a fresh mud puddle and make a sidewalk with rocks.

I want to think M&Ms are better than money because you can eat them.

I want to lie under a big oak tree and run a lemonade stand with my friends on a hot summer's day.

I want to return to a time when life was simple;
When all you knew were colors, multiplication tables, and nursery rhymes, but that didn't bother you, because you didn't know what you didn't know and you didn't care.
All you knew was to be happy because you were blissfully unaware of all the things that should make you worried or upset.

I want to think the world is fair. That everyone is honest and good.

I want to believe that anything is possible.

I want to be oblivious to the complexities of life and be overly excited by the little things again.

I want to live simple again.
I don't want my day to consist of computer crashes, mountains of paperwork, depressing news, how to survive more days in the month than there is money in the bank, doctor bills, gossip, illness, and loss of loved ones.

I want to believe in the power of smiles, hugs, a kind word, truth, justice, peace, dreams, the imagination, mankind, and making angels in the snow.

So . . . here's my checkbook and my car-keys, my credit card bills and my 401K statements.

I am officially resigning from adulthood.

And if you want to discuss this further, you'll have to catch me first, cause........ .....
"Tag! You're it."

Pass this to someone and brighten their day by helping them remember the Simple Things in Life.

If I only didn't have to do high school again, I would do this is a second:D

I don't know school wouldn't be to bad if you didn't have to worry about if you was gonna get blown up tomorrow.

I would sure like the opportunity to go back to 18 and re-do college. I'd sure do something other than teach.

On my budget, McDonald's is a 4-star restaurant! LOL

Oh to be so old that you could crap your drawers and not care! :) I guess one of these days, I might reach that age again. Yea, life is the opposite of what it should be. But just think what it would be like to have a bunch of horney 16 year olds running around with the experience of a life time. Would we be better off? Somehow I doubt it. But it would be fun, wouldn't it? :)

Those would be the days!! heck I don't have to deal with half of that stuff and I want to go back to the age of 8. Just can't wait untill I do have to deal with all of that(hint the sarcasem(sp?)in my typing......lol)

Wish I could be 15 again. This time I'd make the right decision and be spared the past 10-12yrs.Just imagine how different my life could be.Wow,was I stuped!

Now time seems to fly by and we still don't have everything we want done! I remember when summer seem to last forever. We always had time to do the fun things we wanted. My ballgames lasted forever and then after we still went out and played some more. Now kids are too tired to do anything, but sit inside and play playstation. My girls are still in the stone age, they don't even have a tv in their room. Just wish times were simpler now:(

One guy on my route said that if you didn't get what you wanted for Christmas, it will only be six months til it's here again. Yep, time flies when you get older. :)
