THURSDAY MORNING UPDATE FROM TST

Eastaboga, AL (January 3, 2008) – Gates are officially open for Ice Bowl XVII and Thunder 92.7 reported with a traffic update at 7:15 this morning that 87 haulers were in line ready to enter the property.

By 9AM there was over 100 haulers in line ready to enter the track and practice is scheduled to begin at 12Noon and go until 5PM tonight.

At 9:30 there are 50 teams entered in the pits and the haulers are still backed up as far as can see in each direction.

DAY 2 OF ICE BOWL XVII OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY



Eastaboga, AL (January 4, 2008) – Day two of Ice Bowl XVII has officially begun.



At 9AM the gates opened with over 100 haulers in line again, which will bring the total to over 300 cars in the pits.



Practice is scheduled to begin at 12Noon and last until 4:15PM. A quick drivers meeting will be held at 4:30PM and the Bomber car heats will officially begin the racing portion of the 2008 racing season.

BOBBY MAYSE CLAIMS ICE BOWL XVII VICTORY

Eastaboga, AL (January 6, 2007) – Bobby Mayse from Harrison, TN etched his name into the Ice Bowl history books by claiming the win in the 17th annual Ice Bowl event at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL.

A record weekend crowd saw 384 cars in five divisions enter the event over the course of the four day weekend.
