ICEBOWL XVII DETAILS ANNOUNCED
Eastaboga, AL (November 13, 2007) – Talladega Short Track officials today announced details regarding the running of the annual Icebowl event coming up January 3rd – 6th at the famed 1/3 mile clay oval.
Once again the event will be highlighted by a fifty-lap Super Late Model feature event paying $6,000 to win. Billy Mayo sketched his name in the Icebowl record books claiming the win, his first Icebowl win on a cool January Monday afternoon in the last edition of the Icebowl.
The race in 2007 lost the Sunday portion due to rain and the race was run on Monday afternoon.
Joining the Icebowl line-up again in 2008 will be the Sportsman/Limited Late Models for a $2,000 to win main event.
The Stormpay.com Crate Late Models will join the card again battling it out for a $3,000 to win feature.
The IMCA Modifieds will run for $1,500 to win, and will once again be the first IMCA points race of 2008.
Last but not least will be the Bomber division joining the line-up. Bombers will compete for a $700 to win feature. The Bombers like always will run on Friday and Saturday.

Talladega Short Track is located one mile East of the Talladega Superspeedway on Speedway Boulevard in Eastaboga, AL off of Eastbound exit 168 or Westbound exit 173.
