"An off-duty police officer in Narragansett was charged with drunken driving after he allegedly rear-ended a state police cruiser.
It happened Tuesday on Route 108 in Narragansett.
State police said Ryan McGovern was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and refusing a chemical test.
McGovern was driving his personal car.
Neither McGovern nor the trooper in the cruiser was hurt."
