If you thought Indy was boring

Now we got Pocono.

Personally calling it right now - gonna be a JJ show.

Still hopin for Gordon's 1st 2013 victory.

Instead of watching JJ leading , bring up the race on your laptop and watch Gordon fighting for positions back in the pack . It's a lot more interesting.

Having Indy and Pocono back to back is an example of why the schedule needs to be mixed up. NASCAR only has MLB as its competition right now, but have the most boring stretch of races during this time. By the time they get back to some interesting tracks, college football and the NFL is starting up.

If you can't see the racing that goes on at Pocono then I am sorry. I think this track produces some great racing. Sometimes not always up front, but better than Indy that is for sure. Although if they did add more banking I think it would be a little better though.

Pocono is just that one track I never found interest in. Once the field gets a little spread out its a single file train snooze fest IMO. The only thing that somewhat saves it is pit strategy with fuel mileage. I prefer to watch NASCAR for its racing, not its camera angles. Ted, Gordon finished 12th in June... Brad finished 16th. Who's fighting for position in the back of the pack?

Racing *is* what was being discussed. The cars going five-wide on the biggest front stretch in the series. The camera angle is the portrayal of that racing.

Like I said the last time Cup was at Pocono, I love the hypocrisy. People complain about all the cookie cutter 1.5 mile tracks. And when Cup visits the three most unique tracks on the circuit, Indianapolis, Pocono and Loudon, people complain about how boring it is. I think some people think Cup should just race at Daytona, Talladega and Bristol.

Pocono will be another snooze fest.....but Jr gets his first win of the year,

I agree big time . Isn't that the big whine that we hear after Daytona and Talledega ...not enough seperation , cars are too close together , cars cannot get strung out ....what do we want , strung out or not strung out . Pocono is an excellent example of the best cars (that day )getting to the front , the best drivers showing their ability , and the best crews helping their drivers to get ahead . Just couldn't be a better showing of the best parts of Nascar racing .

Pocono is a rare exception to the idea that repaves makes the racing worse (which is true at most tracks). Both races last year right after the repave were pretty good. This year, it was right back to its normal boring self.

This past June's Pocono race was a stinker, but they're not always that way. I thought both races there last year were exciting. At least it's not a 1.5 mi. tri-oval.

I guess yall don't differentiate between " back in the pack " and "in the back of the pack " , subtle difference , I know , but there is a difference .

There is no difference at all. Different wording same exact meaning.
