Well, unfortunately i'm back, but I want to go back!! Last night was so awesome, i'm tellin' ya... if you've never been to Lowes Motor Speedway, I'm telling you to go. Not asking, i'm demanding you go!! It's the best ever, and by far one of my favorites. Traffic wasn't as bad as I first thought it would be, but once we got to the track, nothing could bring us down. I'm at a loss of words, but to put it best... words can't describe the feeling.

I also meet one of the coolest people in the world before the race. Out of nowhere, I met Brendan Gaughan. That dude is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. I talked to him for about 5-10 minutes about various stuff, and he signed my diecast (personalized) and took a picture w/me. Also, what I thought was the highlight of my day, is what he said infront of everybody there. There was about 100 people infront of his trailer and about 40 in line. Well, nobody had a Kodak camera, so he jumped up and said "What is wrong with you people?!!." Ya know, kidding around with them, then he saw me take a pic of him with MY KODAK CAMERA. He gets up on the display, points at me, and says, "I like that guy!! You all need to be like him!!!" I'm tellin' ya.. I was riding high after those words. He thanked me for coming and said he appreciated me voting for him. From now on, I will root for him every chance I get. No, he won't replace Harvick... but he's 2nd my list!

To put it simple, Lowes Motor Speedway kicks ass!!

That race was exciting to watch on TV, so I can only imagine how great it was to be there!
I'm HAPPY for you Slick!

Sounds like you had a great time. It was a good race even if Harvick did get taken out early. :( Gollum not green but filled with envy anyway.
 
I am happy for your experience, I myself have been to the California race countless of times but never the All Star race at Charlotte. Unfortunately, last year, I couldn't make it because I was encumbered with the filming of Troy. You had to be mighty angry when your favorite driver was taken out by that eleven car accident however, thankful that such an event does not count as a points race.

Sounds like you had fun. i went to the dirt track (KLMS) and had a blast.

I heard Tony was at the WoO race there a few weeksago, wish i knew that then and i would have looked for him <_<
