I'm with you. Ask.com says green flag is at 4:46 so I will tune it at exactly 4:46.

Suddenly, I long for the days of CBS, TNN and ESPN with Bob Jenkins. This crap TV coverage FOX and ESPN have is just absolutely pathetic. :mad:
 
Given the POOR reception that race fans here and other foruma that this supid Digger crap has gotten, I wonder how much of a drop in ratings they'll start seeing for the pre-race. I know that I won't even switch to Fox until just before the race starts.

Andy, the stations do not set the start time. NASCAR is at falght for that.
 
I simply skip the first 30 or so minutes of the FOX pre-race --- just so I don't see that rodent.

DW did have a great interview with Jeff Gordon. Got a kick out of Jeff's experience on Sesame Street. Squiggly, squiggly, squiggly -- ROTFL

I'm not referring to the start times. I'm referring to the crap coverage.

On board rear-bumper cameras of the battle for the lead. Digger cams that capture nothing. Mounted wall cameras that only offer a narrow angle. Piss poor announcing. Overdone graphics. Cutaway cars. Chris Myers. Darrell Waltrip. Boogity, boogity, boogity. BozoMac. Draft Track.

All these overdone antics are just beyond annoying.

The last two weeks race day has over lapped fox by a half hour. Maybe that is suppose to be the out for hte digger crap for a little bit?

Go back and watch some of the old ABC Wide World Of Sports telecasts and then complain. I love in car cams! :beerbang:
 
i hate the fact that nascar.com and the tvguide says the race starts at 3 or 330 and it doesnt start until almost 5. I dont really care about the pre-race...esp fox's prerace...its bad and annoying.

Tell me when the race starts and i'll tune in and watch it...simple as that.

I turn on Fox about 15 min. before they drop the green flag. What they are doing is a waste of time.
