I'm looking for an alternative to Rhapsody

I've been a Rhapsody subscriber for years and years now. I had to cancel my subscription over the summer when we were just flat broke. My wife and I are working again and she really wants to get Rhapsody back. What I use it for is to listen to music free while I'm on the computer (obviously) and to download the music to my wife and daughters and I's MP3s. I told her that I've been told that there are other programs out there that are just as good, or even better, and cost less than the $14.99/month we pay for Rhapsody. Does anybody in here use any of these services and have any feedback on them? I'd love to find a free one, but not if it is going to be lousy and I get what I pay for. I don't really have a problem going back to Rhapsody if I have to, but if there is a better value out there, now is the time to switch over before I join back up and re-register my MP3s.

Any feedback?

IDK about downloading MP3's....but I use both iHeartRadio and Pandora, and the school district endorses Spotify.

I use Google music or whatever the app is called $ 9.99 per month. The libary is huge and I have found everything I have wanted except for Bob Seger stuff, and some of Kellie Willis CDs can't be found. On the other hand it offers some obscure good stuff. For example I can hear Kansas perform 'child of innocence' in the original studio cut, or another live version with Steinhardt singing to Livgrens 1970s guitar or with Steve Morse 1980s on the guitars (actually not exactly sure of those details just my opinion) the point is if you care about a lot of obscure, non commercialized good stuff, it can be found.

The widget is Bluetooth compatible with the cars audio as well. The widget also plays the stuff I has already downloaded prior as well, integrated along with the Google service streaming.

The key Is to have an unlimited data plan for the streaming, it isn't a download. If Rhapsody let's you download for the $15 I would be interested. Let me know if that's the case.

Just go to youtube, find the video of the song you want, copy the video link and paste it to the box on the page I just linked. Hit convert video, then download, and vóila. Theres your song in 30 seconds.

I'm not sure if they do or not. I just checked on Rhapsody again last night after I posted this and they have a special right now that is $1 for the first 3 months total and $9.99 a month thereafter for the same premium service I've been paying $14.99 a month for for years. I've been hearing a lot about Spotify, but I don't see anything on their site about being able to listen to music on more than one MP3, which would be a deal breaker for me.

Alright, so I called Rhapsody and they gave me the promotion price of $1 for the first 3 months and $9.99 a month after that for the same premium plan I've been paying $14.99 a month for to rejoin and I don't have to lose any of my playlists or library, allegedly.
