If you've never been to New Orleans you'll love it. The place is rich in history and the are proud of their heretige. When you step on to Bourbon Street it's like stepping into another world. Good luck.

Hey Bowtie, I've lived on the West Bank all my life in Gretna/Terrytown area.I used to hate going to the city.My boyfriend works for Cajun Cabin,Barbon View/catering co. upstairs(that big pink restruant w/the black balcony that's on post cards) and pattoues. all 3 are located next to each other on barbon st. we live 10 minutes away.If i were to jump the river bridge i'd be at my mom's in 15 minutes.Gosh I feel like a tourist. Hey bow, it u r ever in town and this goes to Tabasco also, come by and visit us.I'll show u the restraunts too.

Hey Foursis, I didn't know you were from down that way, if I did anyway I forgot. I get to The Big Easy a couple times a year, I have family in Baton Rouge. Next time I'm down that way if I have time I'll look you up.
