cause as much as I like to argue and debate all the rights and wrongs of this past weekend, when it get's right down to it, whatever happened does pay for my mortgage, health insurance, or two daughter's college tuition.

so I guess i'll just continue to watch for the fun of it.

go martin! go clint! go ryan!

boo jimmie! boo jeff! boo kyle!

bet I still have a good time!

like the song says you have to stand for something or you fall for anything.

Is some of this fan reaction because a lot of them are kids that didn't know this sort of thing goes on in racing ? I've seen it at my local short track .

NASCAR isn't a Southern series anymore. It markets itself as a professional sport equivalent to the NFL or MLB, and as a result their new fans are holding them to the same standards.

Yeah, I'd hate to see them outlaw cheating,....its the only way to even the field....well without having to resort to determination and hard work........but who has time for that torture.

Yup, news during the week doesn't take away from the racing. Its fun to talk about but at race time were all here talking about whats happening on track not in the other threads discussing he past weeks news. Regardless of anything that happens with any penalties or not.. chase... no chase.... it wont take away from how much I root for my driver come sunday.
