Past week has been a roller coaster ride and it just got worse. Friday I got promoted to Grand Dad.
Sunday one of the twins went under the lights for bellirubin (sp)but all were still on target to come home Tuesday. Except daughter was experiencing severe abdominal pain and the pain meds given her resulted in her becoming constipated, I know TMI, but a poop is required to be discharged. But then postpartum preeclampsia was diagnosed. Her blood pressure is through the roof. When she and the boys come home is anyone's guess.

My SIL just called, my brother had a second heart attack last night and is in Beth Israel hospital in Boston. He told her he'd kick my butt if I left my daughter to go see him.
Damm, what next?

Sometimes it just gets overwhelming.
The good thing, your daughter was still in the hospital and they caught the preeclampsia.
And your brother has to be in good hands in Boston.

Keep us up-dated. My thoughts are with you and the family.
It will get better.

I had preeclampsia when I had my daughter. My blood pressure was 150/112. I was so sick.

I hope everything works out for you and your family. They say everything comes in threes, yours is coming in more.

Best wishes, hopefully all recover well.
