In Less Than Three Months..

My mom died. My dad has gone from the hospital for 4wks into a nursing home. My dog had to be put down yesterday morning. Ever feel like a punching bag?

Oh yeah, and did I mention my driver is having a mediocre season at best? Every time he moves up some, he goes backwards. Uggh. I could use something to cheer me up once in a while!

Arrrgh....... I'm wiped out. :(
 
Hugs and prayers to you and your family. I was hoping your dad would get better, want to come home. I'm sorry about your dog.


:D Now your driver...........I can't be sorry about him not doing well, because that means mine is going ahead of him. :D

Sorry about everything that has happened. I know how you feel. I have sort of felt like a punching bag lately too. My mom ruptured her akilies tendon and I had her in a wheel chair for a 6 weeks now she is in a walking boot. She lost her only brother who looked the picture of health but was eat up with cancer and didn't know it he lived 9 days after he found out. Her Mother went in the hospital and we thought we were going to lose her but she is finally home with sitters. Sometimes you wonder just how much you can handle but I guess God won't give us more than we can handle. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I sure hope our driver gets better. You know last year when he was winning so much he said "I hope we don't use up all our luck before the Chase and I think they did. Maybe this year he is just saving it till later cause we both know he ain't used none of it so far.
 
to both 24 fans please hang in there.it seems we all have our cross to carry.some are just larger and heavier than others.sometimes we might wish to go to that cross room and trade it in for a much smaller cross.it's times like this that we realize how strong we are.

remember huricane katrina?i learned then just how much i was capable of handeling then.at the time i didn't think i was strong at all.thinking back now i can't believe all i got threw.i have a saying that helps me in times like these.hope it will help you.

I'll just echo TRL's comments Yorkie. Times will get better and you'll only remember the good times.

tk - You hang in there yourself. Yeah, he's saving up his "good stuff" for when it "counts" these days. :rolleyes: ;)

Kelloggs - Um your driver? I know my mind is mush these days, but your avatar is all about Terry, right? Last time I noticed, he wasn't racing so much, so fill me on the one you cheer for each week. (Ok so he just drove a race, but... you know what I mean. ;)) I probably should know from your posts, but like I said, my mind is mush at the moment. Ok, it's been mush a lot of times, but now I have excuses. ;)
